There's a lot that goes into a wedding day! For you and from my photographer point of view. Of course, I want to capture your day so you can look back and remember the feels, the smells, and all the love that surrounded you. But I also want to help relieve any stress that you may be feeling, leading up to and on the day of.
How do I do that, you may ask? Well, I first start with a Getting To Know You Questionnaire. This questionnaire helps me get in your shoes. Are they stinky? Squeaky? Get me in there! Just kidding! ;) More like, what was your favorite vacation together, what do you love about your venue, what was your proposal like, etc. Sometimes, couples will answer these questions separately so they can see how they match up. I love that!
About 3- 6 months before your date, I'll send a Wedding Details Questionnaire. These questions help me prepare your timeline. Who do you want in family formals? Do you want a first look? What location(s) would you like to use for your portraits? We work together on this timeline right up until a week before your wedding day. I then share with your coordinator, DJ, videographer, and any other vendor that could benefit from it.
On the day, you know that I know what you want and it's all right there in my pocket. Of course, there are factors that could change things up last minute - weather, a missing bridesmaid, delayed hair and make up. It happens! We make the best of it and roll with the punches. It's ok because in the end, you're married to the love of your life and that's what really matters. As your photographer, I'm there to document your story. Even the hiccups because sometimes, they turn into the best moments!
Then what? Oh the suspense! Sometime during the week following your day, I'll make a highlight post that you can share with friends and family. I'll spend about six weeks carefully culling, editing, and uploading to my delivery site. The site is password protected but yes, you can share with friends and family! The delivered photos are yours to download in high res and web size. A print shop is available but you can print wherever you please! You can even design your own wedding album right from the site! The gallery is available until your first anniversary.
It's just the coolest. To have someone ask me to capture one of the most important days of their life. It's such an honor! With over ten years in the business, I've made some special connections. Connections I'll always cherish. It's quite honestly what keeps me going!
